no work tomorow!

I love holidays. Tomorrow is Independence day and not my day to work. :) Don't have any plans apart from sleeping and washing my hair but it's gonna be great staying home.

Brock has worms, I'm taking him to the vet this weekend. Also need to get something for fleas and ticks cuz the Frontline plus isn't cutting it. I also need to remember to pick up a harness for him he's outgrowing the one he has now.

4400 is getting better each week :) This week was pretty good even if I figured it out in the first coupla minutes. Got some Kyle/Isabelle action which totally makes up for the little Isabelle/shawn crap they did. And I can't wait for next week, Richard's back! And he kidnaps Isabelle and I have no speculation as to why.

4400 is great! Theyre overdoing the Messiah thing but it's sorta funny. Collier = messiah, Kyle is his Peter?(my Bible is rusty) and Isabelle is the Mary Magdalene. Then again judging from Kyle's reaction to Jordan de-promicing the soldiers he may very well be his Judas. I'm glad Jordan didn't fall for Maia's obvious lie. I'm not liking the previews for next week, well the Shawn/Isabelle togetherness, I dont want her with him, hopefully it will pan out to nothing.

Going home to reinstall windows and probably ubuntu, not very fun at all.

Also got a C&W SIM today so I'm now one of the two cells peoples but as soon as Digicel gets their act together I'm going back to one. I really cant be bothered with having two phones.

4400 just got good! Shawn is still being an idjit and the people behind Isabelle are coming to the fore and they infected/marked Tom, hehe. Isabelle apologised to the idjit, whatever, he's proving he hasn't learnt jack. I can't for her to get back her powers and I don't think Jordan can de-power her.

Craig stood me up :( He was supposed to take me to Hellshire for some fish and I'm still here :( I should be hungry since I haven't eaten all day just drink drinks and water but I figure it's the heat. Anyhoo, shower time.

For whatever reason, I'm happy and hopeful :) Lots of things are just falling into place for me and I'm anxiously awaiting their fruition. My aunt is coming and so is my dad! Although I wish my cousin was coming too but she's got school and work so that wn't happen but I can call and speak to her so that is some consolation.

I still haven't seen Die Hard 4 and now transformers is out, I wanna see that too. Don't even ask about Harry Potter, lost interest sometime ago. Didn't even see the previous movie

Anyhoo, I'm supposed to be working on some graphics and it's weird cuz it's something I'm really excited for and have been waiting for but nothing I do looks right. Gonna tinker some more today and see what's what.

Those things are fun! Stopped by Kit's last night after work and we were all playing bowling and golf, we did a bit of the others but the bowling and golf were the most fun.

Gonna go clothes shopping in a few weeks. Gonna make a withdrawal from my savings to do it, I know but honestly it's not that much esp since my dad's bday gift and I really need new clothes. For home, exercise and work.

One of my co-worker is leaving this week and work ain't gonna be the same without her. I too am getting ready to leave Ive dusted off and revamped my resume and I'm sending it out this week. I coasted in this job way too long.

haha, yep that's silence for folks. For the first Sunday in ages I have silence. Apparently the noisemakers went somewhere else for service too bad they'll be back but it was great to sleep and have my door open and not be inundated with their hungry belly singing.

One of my fave soap actresses has landed on a new HBO-based-off-a-book series True Blood. Yep, Brook Kerr will be playing Tara and as usual the series will apparently have some diffs from the books, Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse mystery books. Haven't read the books but I'm really looking forward to this :)

Work tomorrow :( 4 days off and I didn't miss it one bit.

note to self, if Stuie is driving I'm walking. Poor thing had a crash yesterday but only the car had serious damage thankfully.

so last night I'm scrolling through looking for a chan to fall asleep to and I find ZEE TV! My cable company has finally gotten with the times, although I dunno how long it's gonna be for but I'm enjoy while it lasts. I love ZEE, it's an Indian channel and its got the best shows/soaps. Great combo of over-acting, under-acting, fashion, music and cheesy effects but they always draw me in. I also like that they're like short, they tell a story and then you got a new on. If you like Passions (haha, majority of my flist) then you'd prolly like them.

My baby is clean and powdered and hyper, just took him for a little run to quiet him down. Gonna go take a nap myself.

today I found this great file comparison software, it can compare images in different folders which is great for me since I collect so much I often have duplicates. If you're interested grab it here. There's a newer version but I dont like its interface.

Had fun last night :) Corralled David into going out last night, we went to Red Bones Cafe, food was good, our waiter was good but the others were asses. I went outside to make a call and when I was going back in these two ladies were leaving cuz they've been waiting to be seated, so I brought them back in and called one of the waiter and it was like he couldn't be bothered. Mutabaruka was spinning CDs playing any and everything. RBC is a Jazz & Blues thing by the way but you wouldn't really know from the decor. Apart from the pics of Jazz & Blues greats the walls were real colorful. Also they need signage, there's none on the outside to say yes youre here and when you walk in there's none to say, enter here.

Anyhoo, onto the fun part, went to Grog Shoppe and met up with Soutar, he was there with some of his friends had some great convo, then I got to drinking. Had a Brown Skin Gal, then another of Soutar's friend came, only to find out he's Baby Shaq, a local artiste I have like 2 of his songs and one, Where I'm From, I really really love. Julian came after the others left. Soutar was teaching me the way of the cigar, wasn't working. The three of us had a great chat, I had 2 Brown Skin Gals so I was real, chatty. Haha. And that's all I'm saying :)
