Went window shopping for dog supplies today to give myself an idea of how much it'll cost. About $10, 000. That doesn't include dog food and primary vet visits. Doggies are $$$

I'm still hungry, and hope of food in sight. I'm gonna call the bf and see what he can do for me.

The washing machine is installed! Finally procrastinating with my laundry has paid off! So no more hand washing, at least for most of my laundry.

Went to Gaucho's last night. More $$$ than I remembered but worth it. Food was goood! Was supposed to go have Dim Sum today but I wasn't in the mood.

Chris(contractor's son) says he has pups but no pics and he doesn't even have a cam phone :( I want pics dammit! Speaking of which, gonna start getting stuff for my baby. bowls, toys, leash and stuff this week.

Me and my Owner went to the JSPCA yesterday. I saw a dog that I want but I couldn't just grab him :( I need to get some dog stuff first. So I'm making a list and getting an estimate of costs.

Saw X3, I aint gonna start on that crapfest except, its craptacular, amen.

OK, so I started reacquainting myself with HTML and Javascript. Even got a CSS for Dummies book. Wish I wasn't so lazy or uninspired but I am reading and practicing just not at a decent pace. This job is sapping my energy :(

I brought my linux box to work so I can work on stuff during down time and I dont have as much as an icon to show for it. boo.

Labour Day!

Today is Labour Day, which in Jamaica is a public holiday in which people do communtiy projects. Cleanup, pedestrian X-ing painting, grooming schools, parks etc. Guess what I did?

Laze around all damned day. No laundry, no HTML practice, nothing but surfing the net and idle calling the bf. He said he cleaned his house, good for him.

Finally bought the washing machine, it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Which is funny since electricity and water isn't ready yet. The contractor was supposed to come today and he didn't so my preciton is gonna come true. I'm gonna have a WM that I can't use. This blows.

I'm tired of my nails now, I'm getting them cut this week, time to go back to short nails.

X3 is coming! I can't help but be excited! But I'm gonna have to ignore some stuff cuz I know there's gonna be stuff that pisses me of like Storm having brown eyes, few of faves being punked, ridiculous one liners etc. But I still wanna see it.

Didn't do my laundry...bah but I did wash my hair and me mom(I LOOVE her!) cornrowed(is that a word?) it so I'm good.

I wanna sleep or something but I'm lazy(too lazy to sleep?) haha not really, USA is having a Law & Order Criminal Intent marathon, I love that show!

Anyone know anything that's good for breaking hair? Mine is breaking, not as bad as before but I wanna do something about it.

Unnu dun kno seh me no like JUTC but me haffi gi dem ratings. Dem recently put up bus schedule which gave me like 5 solid minutes of laughter cuz me nuh know who dem a try fool. BUT! Since last week the 8A has been very ontime. In the morning its usually at my stop between 8:05 and 8:10am and in the evenings it does as the schdeule says, leaves at 8:15pm Even though it still doesnt come as ealry as the 1A. The 7:15pm 8A comes early though.

It's raining rain

I feel like a change again. Both my Blogger & LJ, maybe I'll find some non standard layouts. Not gonna say make cuz I aint gonna. I haven't done anything of the graphic nature in ages and don't get me started. Like my creative 15 minutes are up or something.

Well there's one thing that needs updating and that's me resume, time to dust it off spruce it up and pimping it again.

What else is new? I need to go clothes shopping. I need sneakers and jeans, I already got tons of tops but I need sneakers and jeans.

It's raining, while I don't hate the rain I just hate that it makes being on the road miserable.

I had breakfast at BK today, well from, I ate it at the office. Croissanwich, bacon, eggs and cheese and French toast sticks. I went in for the French toasts ticks cuz I haven't had them in ages bit the Croissanwich called my name and I had to answer.

Oh yeah, I am running and exercising. We alternate days, run one morning, exercise the next. Not seeing any results yet except a few aches and pain and my endurance is better. I even downloaded the 8 minute abs, feet, neck and back vids. Too bad the rain is falling it's put a crimp on things.

I'm watching the Ab Fab series now. Finished season one last night. I love that show esp Patsy.

I think I'm gonna buy the washin machine this weekend hopefully having it will prompt George to come fix the electricity and water so we can use it.

My hair is in dire need of washing and combing, it's been...lets just say, a looong time. Speaking of hair, I used to have this really long strand a little above my left eyebrow that I used to play with a lot and accidentally pulled out, it's grown back and the part near the root is whitish. I don't remeber it being like that before.

My dog yearning has temporarily subsided. Although somedays I'm tempted to say "Fuck it!" and get one of those toy house dogs but thankfully theyre expensive so that keeps my ass in check.

I'm all out of stuff to post but yeah, I'm still alive and all that jazz.

I upgraded my linux box to Ubuntu Dapper today, there's some kinks to be worked out but it's fine so far.

There's an official Apple reseller across the road from where I work, too bad they don't have any firewire cables. It's time for a new iPod, the video one. Ive had mine for years and its age is showing.

Went to Japan

ended up in Cuba.

The bf and I were supposed to go to East(Japanese restaurant) and on the way we drove past a Jamaica/Cuba festval and decided to stop there instead. I had spanish something rice and spanish something pork. (Yes, I got straght A's in Spanish.) Had some coffee cheese cake which was delish.

There was this energetic little boy there, running around amusing himself with everything he sees. I love how easily he was amused.

OK, my sexy is in dire need of preservation. I'm gonna start running for real this time. Already called Greg, we're on.

or so they think. Went to their site file a complaint but their complaint page wasn't working, I wonder why. But they have a page full of email addys, I'm a email all of them and post it here, I need to vent.

Do all the drivers take lunch at the same time? Why was I forced to stand in the hot boiling sun for nearly 40 minutes and not one bus? And its not like I was waiting on just ONE bus either. I was waiting on a 70, 72 or 75. And on Wednesday, April 26, 2005 from 12 - 12:40pm there was no damn bus. Coulda been a hour for all I know cuz I had to call a friend to come take me to work.

Secondly, something has to be done about where the current bus stop is, no damn shelter from sun and rain.

Yay! Got my Ipod connector! Now I can listen Pink and all the new music I've gotten in the past weeks.

I hate my cable company, even WITH the cable box service still sucks! I hope Flow comes with some great digital cable service.

Anyhoo, I'm tired, bedtime.

weddings are expensive

so, went wedding shopping today, $$$$$$ eloping never looked so good. Upside is, Terra Nova hotel is really nice, great personable staff unlike Courtleigh.

I plugged back in my drives, so far so good. I replaced all the original sata cables so lets see if this makes a difference although I doubt it.

what a day, what a day

So C&W had some internal routing prob when it came to our email server so our customers on their connection have been calling and cussing all day. Got one call today, I'm explaining what's happening and the id10t is like, I'm not some Joe Blow you can't fool me. So I'm like, if you dont believe do a tracert, he's like a what?? Mute button is my friend, so after I had my chuckle I had him do a tracert and he saw for himself and shut the hell up.

Another guy, called last week talking about low connection speed and sloooooow browsing. So I'm explaining to him it's prolly his line quality, dude totally gets loud and rude at me saying the service sucks, nevermind its been great up until that day.

So he call back today, wanting help on something else. So I asked him hows the connection problems. first thing out of dude's mouth, "And I was rude to you wasn't I?" For some reason that cracked me up. And he's like "I'm sorry, you were right, I called the phone company and my wires were crossed."

Worst part of today was that I had to deal with the madness on an empty stomach. Had some great pizza in the evening though.

OK, O'Rayne is finally getting that I want IDE drives. This SATA thing has gone on too long and put me sooooooo behind on a project it's not funny. All this stuff is just backing up on me.

I really really really want a dog.

Tomorrow is Hailu's birthday. Still cant believe he's gone and it's times like this I'm glad I didn't look at him in his coffin. I dont want that in my memories of him, I wanna remember him alive. I miss you Hailu.

I had already written this post out and the damn computer crashed so I'm gonna be lazy this time around.

Look, I'm sick and tired of having to ask you to make time for me. I hate that whenever your schedule laxes you find time to go hang with your friends and none for me. And NO! Me being around you while you're at work, or fixing a friend's computer or at my workplace typing away on your laptop doesn't count.

I'm tired of having this convo with you, hopefully putting it in writing will make something stick.

Also, if I have to suggest or remind you it sorta defeats the purpose.

To O'Rayne and this fucking computer,

I dont care what you do get me two replacement IDE drives. This SATA is shit. I'm sick and tired of having this thing crash in the middle of doing something. Now I'm getting errors about possible corrupt files. And yes I have all the damn updates for everything. I'm weeks behind on stuff I NEED to do.

On to good news, I brought my painting home today. Some time during the week I'll post a pic of it.

it's been awhile...

Where have I been? Home and work. And both places are a PITA.

@ work, we now have to do Customer Care for something else which means we have two new phones to answer, which would be all well and good, except, Ive yet to receive proper training and secondly, there's no queuing or voicemail system for it. So today, I'm on calls and the other phones start ringing. I can't put my customer on hold to answer it can I?

So after this happens the second time, they call wondering why calls aren't being answered. Which is understandable but I didn't like the tone of the questions, almost accusatory. So I told him, I'm the only one on duty and I was on a call. they need to go back to the drawing board and work this thing out.

@ home. After weeks of computer problems, I'm starting to get the full picture of my problems. Apparently the computing world isnt fully ready for SATA II hence my always crashing computer. New drivers, new cables, nothing works. I think, I'm just gonna switch back to IDE drives.

And something totally icky, I gotta be vague to protect innocents not so much the guilty. Gotta trust your instincts people, you gotta. So I was at Leela's home hanging when her dad comes to me all sneaky and whispering, "What's your email address?" I didnt hear him at first so he had to repeat it like 3 times. And alarm bells go off in my head but I try to downplay it. He's always been a cool guy, so I'm trying to tell myself, its nothing sleazy. So, I give him my email addy. I tell the bf on the ride home and he's like, that's how he is, it's prolly no big deal. I love him, always looking on the good side. So, I get an email this morning(yes, I'm posting it here):

JUTC does it again

So went to take the bus today, wat a raasclaat joy. 1st the 1A comes on top wen the eediat driver come talk bout is only one stop him a mek like di bus a Express but I wasn't in the mood fi him and him foolishness. A shoulda go pon the bus and press the buzzer fi every stop.

Then the 8A, the bane of my existence. The 8pm 8A strolled in at 8:35pm wid the driver smiling, wish I could make him swallow it.

Now I'm formatting my drive that I thought was ok but it isnt hopefully the prob was in the original partitioning or wotnot and I dont have to send it back, here's to hoping.
